A Bathory design for Hammerheart, the 1990 album seen as a cornerstone of Viking metal. Its cover is Frank Dicksee's painting The Funeral of a Viking, shown here in fiery reds and golds with a helmeted warrior raising his arm in the firelight, for Quorthon's Viking era.
Design
- Front: The BATHORY blackletter logo in red above the Hammerheart cover painting in fiery orange and red, with HAMMERHEART in red runic-style lettering underneath.
